Closed turret version of the Sd.Kfz 8-wheeled reconnaissance vehicle. 234, better known by the pseudonym “Puma”. It was armed with a 5 cm KwK 39 L/60 rapid fire cannon. Very fast and versatile, its two driving positions with steering wheel gave it excellent manoeuvrability and the possibility of changing from forward to reverse without the need to turn. Only about 100 units were built.
Hasegawa’s 1/72 scale model, in hard plastic, 10.2 cm long for mounting, glue not included. Not suitable for children under 14.
