The Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO) was a light tracked tractor designed by Ferdinand Porsche for the German army and initially built by Steyr in Austria; from 1944 onwards, it was also manufactured by Magirus, Deutz AG, Wanderer and Gräf & Stift. Although it was developed specifically to operate in the Soviet Union due to the lack of tarmac roads, it was used on other European fronts during the conflict. It was inspired by Soviet tractors captured during Operation Barbarossa in 1941. Although slow, it offered excellent manoeuvrability and range, and over 25,000 units were manufactured. Its first version, the RSO/01, featured a closed cabin made of rounded sheet metal.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before placing your order, please read the following considerations regarding 3D printed scale models:
- This scale model has been digitally designed by Wargame3D and is printed with SLA/DLP printers and in plastic UV-curable resin. This type of printing is done in layers. In some cases these layers may be visible on some surface of the printed model. Therefore it may happen that some surfaces are not completely smooth, although during the painting process of the model this feature may not be noticeable. Please, take into consideration this characteristic of the models printed in plastic resin before placing your order.
- The printing is carried out to order. The standard order takes about 10 working days to be printed and ready to be dispatch.
- Some details of the printed model (gauge bars, handles, etc.) may not be reproduced in the smallest scales, such as H0 and 15mm.
