New 20mm American Winter Infantry miniature figures for wargame and collectors, made in white metal and ready to paint from our brand Plana Mayor.
The range is inspired by the extensive graphic documentation of the Battle of the Bulge and the final months of the campaign in Western Europe.
SNAFU Team – Situation Normal, All F***ed Up – was the name used as a joke by the besieged soldiers in Bastogne to designate the surveillance patrols. These units were created by General McAuliffe with the stragglers who were fleeing the German advance and ended up in the besieged city. 
Their mainly task was reinforced the critical points of the American defence in Bastogne, plugging the gaps within the perimeter of the encirclement. They came from various units, including the 110th Infantry Regiment of the 28th Division. This unit had been fighting since the beginning of the Wacht am Rhein offensive on 16 December 1944, and was in a critical situation with numerous casualties, very low morale and on the verge of disappearing as a military unit.
In addition to the Battle of the Bulge, this series of miniatures can also be used to recreate other miniature battles during the bitter winter of 1944 and the last months of World War II during the Fall on the Third Reich, etc. They can also be used in battles from Korean War in 1950-53.
Our 20mm American Infantry range have been structured in half squads bags, compatible with popular wargame rules system such as Battlegroup, Rapid Fire and Blitzkrieg among others. In addition can be easily adapted to any World War II tabletop rules.
The figures are made of metal at a scale of 20mm, compatible with scales 1/72 and 1/76. They are delivered unpainted and paints are not included. They are not suitable for children under 14 years.
