German Steyr RSO/PaK40 tank destroyer armed with the powerful and reliable PaK 40 anti-tank gun mounted on the chassis of a Raupenschlepper Ost tractor.

The 7.5 cm PaK 40 auf Raupenschlepper Ost was the anti-tank version of the Raupenschlepper Ost light tractor designed by Ferdinand Porsche for the German Army for the Eastern Front and armed with the standard 7.5 cm PaK 40 gun. This RSO/PaK 40 version was designed in 1943, and a total of 60 units were produced. Although it was very inexpensive and quick to manufacture, its low speed—which did not exceed 30 km/h on roads—and complete lack of armor made it far too vulnerable in anti-tank combat or against infantry.
