The Trippel SG 6 was an amphibious vehicle with four-wheel drive developed in the mid-1930s and used by the German army during World War II. Its 6/38 version could carry up to 4 passengers and was manufactured by Bugatti at its factory in Molsheim, Alsace, during the occupation of France until 1943, when the Heer focused on acquiring the popular Volkswagen Schwimmwagen amphibious car, which was cheaper and easier to manufacture. Its production was limited to around 800 units.
