Engineer’s version of theSd.Kfz.251 Ausf.D Hanomag, the most used armoured transport by the Germans during the WWII. The vehicle, called the “Pionierpanzerwagen”, was prepared to transport a squad of engineers with all their special equipment and included two assault ramps on the sides that served as a bridge to cross small trenches and canals. In addition, this version was armed with a schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (sPzB 41), a heavy 2.8 cm anti-tank gun that used a reducing gun-piercing system.
1/72 scale model of Dragon, in hard plastic, 8.1 cm long approx. to be mounted with photo-etched parts, glue not included. Includes parts to assemble the standard version Sd.Kfz.251/1 for panzergrenadier squad transport. Decals for several unidentified Wehrmacht units. Not suitable for children under 14.
