The M4A3E8 (76)W HVSS, also known as Easy Eight, with a T23 turret for the 76 mm M1A1 high-speed gun. It implemented a new Horizontal Spiral Spring System (HVSS) which significantly improved the car’s suspension, with the help of the new T66 chains with wider links that allowed it to move better in mud and snow. With welded hull and Ford GAA V8 gasoline engine. About 2,615 were manufactured between mid 1944 and the end of the war in 1945. During the Korean War he played an outstanding role..
