24-ton medium tank Pz.Kpfw IV in its Ausf.H version with Schürtzen armored skirts built from 1943. The Panzer IV was the main battle horse of the German army developed at the end of the 30’s. It was the German tank manufactured in greater number (8,500 units manufactured until 1945) and more widely used on all fronts until the end of the war. It was designed in 9 different versions for tanks and served as an armored platform for other weapons such as assault guns, self-propelled and anti-aircraft artillery.
