Also known as Stuka zu Fuss, the Sd.Kfz.251/2 Ausf.D Hanomag, was the rocket launcher version of the latest variant of the Hanomag armored half-track infantry transport. The vehicle, in addition to carrying a squad of panzergrenadiers consisting of 8 soldiers, incorporated a tubular structure that turned it into a powerful rocket launcher support platform. It could launch up to six simultaneously rockets of 3.0cm and 2.8cm high explosive, and 3.2cm incendiaries, which were fired from its own transport crates.
