In 1944 the Steyr 2000A arose as a result of modifications made to the Steyr 1500 heavy car due to the shortage of raw materials, with a simplified design with the capacity to support a greater payload up to two tons and thus be used among other uses as a platform for anti-aircraft weapons such as the Flak 38-103 Jaboschreck. This light gun developed by Rheinmetall was the evolution of the 2 cm Flak 38, but with a larger caliber of 3 cm to better cope with the overwhelming Allied bombing campaign during the last months of the war. It only entered production in small numbers before the end of hostilities, but this short period of time was enough to earn it the nickname ‘fighter-bomber terror’, Jaboschreck in German. By contrast, more than 7,000 Steyr 2000A vehicles in all versions were built between 1944 and April 1945.
Wargame3D 20mm scale model, printed in 2 or 3, depending on the version in plastic resin, 7,8 cm long (see images). Not suitable for children under 14 years old.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before placing your order, please read the following considerations regarding 3D printed scale models:
- This scale model was digitally designed by Wargame3D and is printed using SLA/DLP printers with UV-curable resin. This type of printing is done layer by layer. In some cases, these layers may be visible on certain surfaces of the printed model. Therefore, some surfaces may not be completely smooth, although this characteristic may not be noticeable once the model is painted. Please keep this characteristic of plastic resin-printed models in mind before placing your order.
- Printing is done on demand. A standard order takes about 10 business days to be printed and ready for shipment.
- Some details of the printed model (gauge bars, handles, etc.) may not be reproduced in smaller scales such as H0 and 15mm.
